California Fires Relief
January 2025
Massive fires are currently burning through neighborhoods in Los Angeles. So far 10,000 structures have been burned down and more than 150,000 residents are under evacuation orders. After this unprecedented disaster, there will surely be many families, individuals, organizations, businesses, and community centers in need of monetary assistance to help restore what has been lost.
Hidaya Foundation, with our headquarters just some hours north of these fires, is collecting funds in order to support some of these causes and help our neighbors in their time of need. Please donate towards California Fires Relief.
Past Efforts:
July 2018
The massive Carr Fire in Redding, CA burned nearly 230,000 acres, an area about 6 times the size of San Francisco. In its wake, the fire destroyed over 1,600 structures, mostly homes. Hidaya Foundation, was in contact with volunteers and organizations in Redding to work towards the relief efforts. Funds were collected and distributed to volunteer networks who provided food, clothing, housing, transportation, counseling, and more to affected families.
October 2017
A dozen fires burned simultaneously in Northern California throughout several counties, scorching hundreds of thousands of acres, including entire neighborhoods. More than 40 people died and nearly 6,000 homes and businesses were destroyed. Hidaya Foundation, collected funds to support some of our neighbors in the Santa Rosa area in their time of need.
